Registering your nickname:

Register an account

Your nick is how people on Libera.Chat know you. If you register it, you’ll be able to use the same nick over and over. If you don’t register, someone else may end up registering the nick you want. If you register and use the same nick, people will begin to know you by reputation.

Most IRC clients can automatically login to an existing Libera.Chat account using a process called SASL. Libera.Chat sometimes requires SASL authentication; if you were disconnected with a message saying you need SASL, skip to the section on connecting from a SASL-only address.

The NASSP dev team is spread around the world, so generally speaking at least one of us will be probably awake and active in the channel (depending on where you're located). The channel is most active from ~14:00 GMT to ~22:00 GMT. Between ~22:00 GMT and ~6:00 GMT it is normally just me, and I generally won't be able to help much unless you want to talk about VirtualAGC. :lol: The hours between ~6:00 GMT and ~11:00 GMT are usually quiet, with most of us asleep or otherwise not around. (Note: these times are all approximate. If we don't respond right away, hang around for a while -- it might just take us a bit to see your question!)
