Ok, I managed to fix it. I ran it in compatibility mode for Windows 7, and it seems to have completely fixed the problem

I do recall there being some extra steps to get Orbiter 2010 P1 to run under Windows 10... I've not tried to run it since I got my new Windows 10 computer however.

Huh, now that you mention it, I do remember some problems with Win7 vs. WinXP...
