New Release Interplanetary Modular Spacecraft RC9

Hey I can't download it from the link it's says the file is not available is there any other link

I just checked the link in the initial post and it still seems to be up. Maybe you just caught a bad time.
Take note however that it's not supported for Orbiter 2016, anything might happen if you run it in with it.
There's a complete rewrite of the project underway, but it will take time to get up to the same level.

To me its still saying "file failed to upload you won't be able to download" but i think I'll patiently wait for v.2

That's really weird, it works without issues for me. Is anybody else experiencing that problem?

IMHO, this should just be posted directly on O-H for posterity. I assume this version is as done as it's going to be. It's a perfectly wonderful add-on for Orbiter 2010 as it is!

Huh... you're certainly not wrong about "as done as it's going to be". I'll see to it.

I think that it will help to "promote" your new IMS venture if the original is searchable on O-H and not buried in the forums.

It seems its impossible to download IMS from the link provided, is there anywhere else that i could find the download?

Whoopsy... looks like that site lost the file. That begs the question, do I still have it around anywhere? That's a goooood question, actually. I'll have to see.
Even if I do, don't count on it working in Orbiter 2016...

Thanks, i'm not worried about in working in Orbiter 2016, only 2010/2006

2006 is right out. It was developed for 2010. No backwards compatibility.

I still have the source code around, but I couldn't yet find a release package. Which would be rather important, since just the dll without all the config files would be rather worthless. I'll have to check out some old disks and see if there's still something there.

Since the original filesharing site kinda lost the files, I uploaded a package to the forum itself (which is possible nowadays because webspace is dirt cheap). Download link on the first page has been changed.
THanks a lot to Dantassii who archived the last release package, because I totally didn't...

As you can see by some of the photos in my albums, I sure had fun with this. My Lunar station had over 1,600 individual modules in it and it was only about 33% complete when I stopped. The reason I stopped is my then current computer couldn't handle the load. I don't know if it was a video card, RAM, or CPU limit, but I was only getting about 16 FPS even with Dx9.

I only get 16 FPS normally lol.
I’m having some problems with the loading of scenarios, when there is a IMS module in the scenario, I get a CTD upon loading of “IMS.dll”

I’ll post the scenario in a few minutes
(Edit because I can’t spell)

Here is the scenario;
I have tried closing the launchpad every time, and there are no spaces in any craft names

These require Orbiter 2010 and IMS 1.0 RC 9 along with about a half dozen other mods that have to be loaded in a specific order. If you are using Orbiter 2016 or didn't load all the dependant mods in the correct order, or you didn't install IMS RC 9, then you're not going to be able to run this.

Sorry you're having trouble. A dump of the orbiter.log file would be a lot more helpful than the scenario though, since most likely it's some kind of issue with a missing dependency.
A good test would be to open a scenario without any IMS vessels, spawn a command module and close, and then see if that scenario loads back up again. That'll at least tell you if your orbiter version is compatible...

Hi, I tried just using one Command Module and it still crashed upon startup. Here is the orbiter.log for the scenario where I only used one Command Module;
P.S. I am using 2010 P1 (100830)

That's all? No final error? It's hard to imagine that Orbiter crashes without logging anything.

That's everything in the log file.
I spent this morning trying IMS on a clean install, and even on D3D9, still with no luck.

Just to be clear, I am using UMMU 3.0, SSBB4.0 with SSBB4.1B extracted over that, and IMS. Is there any other things that I need installed?
