I think this might be a hardware problem, so I'm posting this here:
(This problem occures in Orbiter 2006P1 and in Orbiter 2009.)
The HUD is missing in the generic cockpit view on all vessels!
In virtual cockpit and in 2D Panel view (if available) the HUD is displayed correctly. But not in the generic view. I don't even see the simulation infos (the yellow text in upper right corner) and fuel status (although in external view, the simulation infos and framerate are displayed). The MFDs are displayed correctly and even the autopilot buttons appear/disappear if I press ctrl+h, but no HUD is displayed. Pressing H does not do anything.
If I switch video mode to "RGB Emulation" the hud is visible but the simulation runs horribly slow (about 1 frame every 2 seconds or so).
In all other video modes the HUD is missing.
I also experienced the "dark sky" bug, but adding msvcp71 and msvcr71 solved this problem, but did not bring back my HUD.
My graphics card is a Radeon HD 4890 and I use the lates drivers. I use Windows 7 Professional x64
Thanks for every bit of help!!
