When you have males in a forum, the comparison is unavoidable.
Human males compete a lot...
When you are at some place in which along the people around, there is one very rich guy, you will see that human females compete a lot too ;)

More seriously after a hard drive format and a reinstall, i got Orbiter with only the addons i can't fly without anymore.

This way i could start relatively clean with Orbiter before adding more content potentially ruining the framerate, creating more incompatibility errors etc...

I was surprised to see the size being a bit more than 600 mb.
nearly 75% of those 600mb are the planets and other floating rocks textures.

247 MB to 1.7 GB each in 7 seperate installations of Orbiter. I like to seperate the addons to minimize problems and shorten load time.:beach:

About 1,5 gb , I have an instalation with a lot of addons. and scenarios all classified in programs .For example:

Spaceships ( but realistic )
USA new program
Russian and esa Actual real addons
Deltagliders
Energy , buran, and tugs ,
shuttle fleet
History and modern probes...

I tried to do a "full" instalation , but it´s a challenge because some times there are addons conflicts and one addon requires another to work...

Sadly there aren´t any big pack like in another games ( GWX in silent hunter ) so i´m trying another new installation usin a addon manager

your might be bigger but mine is thicker. spread over 14 folders XD
JSGME allows me to keep it one folder. And while I've heard thickness is important, I believe size and efficiency are most important.

4.65 gigs.

My second one for LEO-only operations because the first was getting too crowded? 2.95 gigs.

Also 1.31 gigs of addons stockpiled on my external drive.

My O2006 folder is: 2.24 gigabytes

my O2009-RC1 folder is: 209 megabytes

my add-on folder (excluding files not yet
transferred from downloads) is: 1.95 gig

my downloads folder is mostly addons... but there are some random other files, so I chose to ignore it (even though it contains 9/10 of my addons)
