News How average Americans spend their day

That is interesting, how did you dig that up?

Nice to know from 7AM till 2PM I am apart of that 1% that volunteer. :)

haha, much better is the 1% of people who didn't know or couldn't remember what they were doing.... tricky question afterall.

aka watching porn
aka committing crime
aka getting ****faced/high

or do all those things come under "other leisure activities" ;)

I have noticed that the culture in US (based on people I know, which may not be a representative sample) are very hardworking, and they need to make money. Discipline is good, but some people exceed that and become either workaholics or they work extra to pay many bills or debts. A few exceptional ones were materialistic freaks who made money to pretend.

One sad case I found once was a retired american old lady I met personally. Her daughter had lupus and she didn't have the money to get medical attention. Her husband also was retired and they did not make enough money.

The last emails I have sent were not replied, so I hope she is still alive and her family is Ok. Considering the horrible things I heard about health coverage from her, something we do not suffer in our country, I realized that healthcare reform comes in due time.

I think throughout the day, I don't have a specified "I'm gonna sit and think for an hour" time. :)

Nice to know I'm part of the 4% that wakes up at 10 or 11.

90% of off time though, most of us are playing Orbiter that are on here.
:)

...most of us are playing Orbiter...

I can only speak for myself, but I'd say you're right. My wife IS happy that I'm not up until 3 AM playing World Of Warcraft (or surfing for porn).
She has noticed that I am learning some programming skills (slowly) due to Orbiter, and that I nit-pick scifi shows just a bit more than I used too.
