Welcome. You may be a noob, but all of us have been so at one time, and the game is awesome. It's a good time to get started on Orbiter. You'll find tutorial scenarios and also YouTube vids detailing most of the aspects. Don't be surprised if orbital physics is a bit ...different to what one normally sees in movies.

@bateson, as @steph says, there are many videos related to Orbiter. If you like check out this at the wiki, https://www.orbiterwiki.org/wiki/Category:Videos, and https://www.orbiterwiki.org/wiki/List_of_Orbiter_related_videographers. Here is listed more than 2100 videos by 150 or so videographers, all the videos I could scrounge up from four sites and adding more as I find them, listed by author. Many demos, but, there are some really good tutorials among them. You may want to start with David Courtney and TexFilms. My favorite is Courtney's Absolute Beginner's Guide, a series of forty some videos taking you through the very basics.
:welcome:

EDIT: Oh, yeah, an entry in the shoutbox reminded me, start with Bruce Irving's Go Play in Space, you can read it in the wiki at https://www.orbiterwiki.org/wiki/Go_Play_In_Space. It is considered required reading at the Orbinaut academy.
