Just to say hello,
I have only just discovered Orbiter, (from a link in an astronomy website - but sorry, I can't remember which one), and am looking forward to having fun with it.
As you may have gathered from the above, I am also a bit of an amateur astronomer. Although I live in west Wales, where we don't exactly have the best viewing conditions. It's cloudy and rains a lot.
For those who are interested in such things, I have a Celestron NexStar 8: an 8-inch (200 mm) Schmidt-Cassegrain. I also have a 10-inch Dobsonian, which a friend of mine is borrowing at present.
I also used to be keen on building & flying Model Rockets, but haven't done very much in that field recently. Have always been interested in Space Science and am a member of the BIS (British Interplanetary Society).
best wishes to all,
Paul C.
