Got some sweet pictures of Spain and Gibraltar, a nice sunrise, the sahara, Central Valley of California, and the Manicouagan crater in Canada!

Cool. So far, I got ocean and a lot of clouds. And southern Italy.

But the sunrises and sunsets are beautiful.

BTW open n2yo.com in a second browser window so you can see where the station is :)

I only get a view of the Google Earth globe when viewing simulated views.

Not from ISS position like on the screenshot? What browser do you use?
(FYI, I built the site with Firefox).

They seem to have used ENB Series for Real World Earth. HDEV camera looks very bright.

You do realize the picture on the right is Orbiter realtime, right ?

What was the orientation of the ISS at Soyuz undocking ?

Never mind. It was soyuz tail first in the velocity vector.

I always wanted to go to the southernmost point and take my shoes off and stand in the ocean. My intent was to drive my jeep down HWY 1 until I ran out of road. Then I would take boats and feet until the end.

Apparently, "eco-tourism" is now a big thing down there. Oh well, maybe in another life.

Cool ISS link, thanks.

I have implemented a ground path map (with cloud cover image via Google Weather). I'm planning to include pass prediction so you know when to tune in to see a particular spot.

Sunset from ISS over Western coast of Australia

Cool. What did you use to capture that?

I have implemented targeting.

You click on the map to specify the target, and the site automatically finds when cameras will have good visibility of the target (within the nearest 72h period) and allows you to do a simulated overfly.

The only thing missing is that it does not indicate which passes are during the night.
