OHM HCLV Hyperion

Thank Woo482. Without him it would be just petty velcro or multistage contraption.

For the second time - I only created concept and visual part - dirty work is Woo482's. He made it possible :P

That's what I get for a quick and dirty post right before I was off to work. Adam, we love your work, too! :bighug:

Thanks edited, and reaffirmed here: Thank you both for this addon. The installation was a breeze, and the interface was a real treat to work with, to put a sidemount stack right on LC-39B, ready to go. Now I have some more time to play. :jiggy:

K_Jameson, thank you for saying that both .dll and sc3/ms2 developers can contribute to the Orbiter community.

Great "in-line Energia" launcher, too.

It might look pretty good (sidemount), provided you don't use the Jason 2nd stage (but then you lose the docking point).

I think there needs to be a longer fairing. Skylab can't even fit in the "2000" fairing.

edit: I know, I could have made my own fairing.

Doc\HCLV\HCLV-Hyperion_SDK.pdf ;)

There is even 3ds file provided for reference.

Just noticed that I've packed wrong texture for sidemount version.

New is uploaded in [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6216"]main package.[/ame]

Sorry for that.

Or just download texture file and put it in Textures\HCLV\ folder

If you want take with you Jason's second stage you need HCLV-4.

If you want EDS to perform TLI you need HCLV-4 + EDS.

In both cases you'd need payload adapter. I could not possibly make adapters fol all crafts but Woo made it possible to include custom ones.

Great Work

I'd like to thank Woo482 for making this addon possible and all of you who contributed to this add-on:

- Face, Orb, Dbeachy1 and Zatnikitelman for lots of help during dev process
- Beta team - for excellent bughunt
- Martin Schweiger - for creating orbiter
- All folks on O-F for feedback

I can only dream of making something this cool!! Thank you for a great ship, and for giving me something to strive for (even if it is years away!).

stevcast :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I get CTD when i try to load the scenario with standard Orbiter. The log-file says that a mesh is missing, but with noname?!
Under the DirectX9Client it works fine.

In every case a very good work, i love your launch-island with the hangars and working crane and train, thats a super idea which increases strongly the immersion!

Can you post orbiter log along with scenario you're trying to load?

Is HCLV_MFD enabled?

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6216"]Add-on [/ame] on OHM has been updated

Just for fun CTV and LTV on top of rocket, shortly after launch :speakcool:
Rocket body on reentry trajectory, and docked CTV and LTV. Already made test fly to Moon

How did you do it without EDS stage?

How did you do it without EDS stage?

The LTV has (or at least had; I'm not sure if it has been updated) an unrealistically high dV budget, with a specific impulse equivalent, IIRC, to a nuclear-thermal rocket, though of course without the visual representation of the engineering it would require.
