It were very busy weeks at HASA. first the Friendship project was canceled. Everything had to move to Wideawake international. Launch of 3 satellite's. assemble a new Crew Transportation Vehicle, or CTV.
Launch of 3 satellite's
HASA has launched 3 satellite's in Low Lunar Orbit, or LLO. the first is the modified Lunar-a from JAXA. It also carries 2 probes which will search for possible base sites.
The second was a modified LRO. it'll make images of the moon and serve as a communications satellite.
The last one is a SkyLink satellite, and also serves as a communications satellite.
Move to Wideawake International
HASA has moved to Wideawake International because it's much cheaper than maintaining a sea-launch platform.
Assembly of a new CTV
HASA needed a new vehicle to go to moon. Not only the vehicle has to carry humans, but also large station (and later base) modules.
The crew will go to the moon in reusable capsules. In total, there will be 5 capsules. The names are not yet known
It's also not yet known when the new launch vehicle will fly its maiden-voyage.
MRM-1 launch
Today, at 2 p.m. GMT+1, Space Shuttle Endeavour headed towards space on the first Moon Training Mission, or MTM. These mission are created to give new astronauts some experience in space before they are heading to the moon. Aboard of Endeavour were 6 astronauts. 3 of them will fly on HASA's first mission to the moon, the other 3 will fly on the second HASA mission to the moon. They will learn how to live in a spacecraft/spacelab and doing some EVA's. The payload is a SpaceLab.
