HASA officially stops the Friendship project.
The reason is simple: there is no more money left. This is because HASA is a new agency. They didn't had much money when they started and the launch failure yesterday was the final strike to kill HASA.

''It's too bad to loose the Friendship project, but hé, that's life. we are young, don't have much money, and if one launch failles, especially in the beginning of the existents of the agency, than is that just too bad. We understand some of the company's that finance HASA have lost faith. We are going to do everything to get their faith back in HASA.

The reason only the Friendship project is abandoned, and not HASA is because HASSESA is giving us a second change. HASSESA is currently building a prototype Moon Station. They've asked HASA to help build that station and eventually to build a lunar base.

The prototype station is in Earth orbit. HASA will focus on the launch of a series of communication satellites. The first is planed for Thursday 6 May 2010, 04:00 a.m. EDT.

Friendship will be left in orbit, because if HASA have enough money, they will finish the project. The astronauts that are now aboard of Friendship will land Friday, to complete their mission.''

This was what D. Weijers, HASA founder, told to the press

Good luck to the astronauts that are coming back home. HASSESA has, in fact, scheduled a launch to the MSSEU space station that is currently orbiting the Earth. This mission is to add another Solaris Solar panel to the MSSUE to provide more power to perform tests. We here at HASSESA are sad to hear that the Friendship projct has to be canceled. We thank HASA for joining us in this project of a moon Space Station. We also say God luck to the launch on Thursday.
