Good ol' Max Peck
Hey everyone! I'm Nicky, from Scotland. I've been on Orbiter for quite a few months now, trying to teach myself how to use it and what not, I can get an OV into orbit and land it to a decent level. I have ''tried'' to land on the moon with the LEM, and I can dock with most things.. As you can probably tell, i'm into Shuttle Fleet, ISS/Soyuz and AMSO, the proper real life stuff.
I got into Orbiter through a great interest in space. Last year I read alot about Apollo, and since then, i'm hooked
Orbiter was something I came across on wikipedia when reading about the plans for the Apollo Manned Venus Flyby (and there was a screenshot of the ''eye-balls-out'' burn on Orbiter). I have always been a huge car nut though, so excuse me if I make any motorsport references (which I am too used to making on other forums..)
I'm in my last year School just now and have applied for Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering at university, so hopefully I can get involved with real life space in the future, perhaps even fly in space, which would be pretty awesome, eh?
Can't wait to get to know you all, and especially can't wait to use three letter acronyms (TLA's?) without being looked at as a weirdo!
Nicky
