I don't know if it's possible, but a utility, what makes the right guidance file for you...

just a crazy idea.. :P

What shall read that file?
What would the data be based on?
Guidance for what?

You are being rather unspecific.

I'm assuming a multistage2 rocket, as far as I know there isn't another universal guidance system out there.

yeah, just a multistage2 guidance file... sorry that I didn't say that

Are you asking for a utility that generates multistage guidance files for you?

not only for me, but for everybody ;)
it was just one of my craze ideas..

They are text files with a very simple language, I fail to see how a tool to generate these can be of any assistance when one can be created in notepad in less time than it takes to write this reply.

Hi. I don't see the point of the guidance in multistage rockets (anymore). Why not use the playback feature for the launch? To generate the guidance file, as far as I know you already have to fly the thing to orbit manually to get the data. Unless there is something made that automates the launch entirely (unlikely, and as the author of the thread requested) I don't see the point.

I actually find this very limited, so I see where IronRain is coming from. IronRain, why not use this?

thanks.
but it was just an idea.
I don't understand how to make a guidance file, and I thought there would be more people who don't get it.

and offcourse I can fly a spacecraft into orbit by myself, but sometimes it's funnier to just watch and see the rocket doing it by him self...

Have a look at the files that are out there and have a look at the pdf documentation included in the multistage addon. There aren't that many commands to give a rocket.

Also, you'd need to understand the basics to use the GUI, you wouldn't be able to just press a button and it magically generates one.

yeah, I looked at the PDF quikly.. maybe I have to read better.. well, im gonna read tomorrow...

thanks anyway
