at one point i had three other random people in there...one of them had a mic but i think he was a little kid on some kind of "air force one" power trip.

your best bet is to just run a session and leave it there for a bit while you fly around or whatever, not sit there and wait a couple minutes for no one to join

Those seem to be big in numbers, don't they? You get about 3 million of them, hosting their own session where they just pretend to shoot everyone else down in their F-18, and they pile all those servers into Free-flight, and it gets so crowded that no one else can get in, even to change lobbys. They should try and find something to do about that.

According to teh internetz, if you have SP2 you should be able to play with Acceleration folks...

Good to know it wasn't just random people. I thought it was, so I may have kicked you off my friends list, but didn't ban you--re-friend me next time you see me.

On a humorous side note, the guy who was trying to run into me with a 747 and was all like "i'm air force one, escort me!" started a private chat again with me later on while i was in a free flight session (with seemingly normal people). The conversation went roughly like this:

Him: hey wuts the name of ur session
Me: It's not my session, I'm in someone else's
Him: oh ok what's the name
Me: why?
Him: so i can join
Me: I'm sorry, do I know you?
Him: i'm the guy who tried to run into you with the 747 earlier
Me: I thought you said that was your brother?
Him: oh, that's true
(no further contact from him)

lol. Noobs. Go play a game that doesn't require thinking.

In other news, I joined an ATC session with a good controller, and flew from TNCM to TNCE following his vectors, and not once did i get yelled at, despite driving off the runway because i missed the turn, lol... cool!

Now if only we could do that in Orbiter...
