Toast! :D
FSATGMADOE today revealed the name of their first astronaut group. The group consists of 6 men and 4 women.
These brave people are, Clive Lloyd, Chaz Heath, Brian Edison, Vernon Elliot, Alice Parnel, Kiara Brook, Delia Charmaine, Alexey Maksimilian, Torin Grady and a mysterious woman known only as Carmen S. (Kudos to you if you get the reference)
FSATGMADOE have 5 Soyuz FG rockets to use with their 5 Soyuz TMA spacecraft for these manned missions. We wish these astronauts good luck and wonder which of them will be the first into space.
---March the Year after---
Tragedy struck today when FSATGMADOE's first manned flight ended in disaster.
The launch was "Go" and all seemed well as astronaut Alice Parnel sat alone in her Soyuz TMA spacecraft atop a Soyuz FG rocket.
The launch went as planned with Alice completing 3 orbits around Earth.
But there were problems during the reentry procedure when the modules did not seperate.
It is expected the craft broke up somewhere between 60 and 50 km high.
Parts of the Soyuz have been found around Central Asia but no remains have been found.
