We went to see a premier of "Fly Me to the Moon" last night. My wife won six tickets from a radio station a while back. The movie was cool since it was 3D. I felt like I was on the moon! It's as close as I will ever get! It's a must see for anyone who loves Apollo, since you actually follow along from launch to splash down. My eight year old son Cody and his buddy enjoyed the movie even more than me. It added coal to the fire already burning in my son's imagination. Apollo 13 is one of his favorite movies and he thinks all the astronauts are, as he says, real heroes. I hope he gets to meet one of them some day. Cody jumped out of his seat when one of the actual Apollo astronauts appeared at the end of the movie to give a brief speech. It is ashamed that these real heroes are only seen by children once in a while on television.
Enough said. Go see it, you will enjoy it I'm sure. Amelia Earhart was even in the movie.
