Famous Space Quotes

Whilst on the moon, John Young - “I got the farts again. I got ’em again, Charlie. I don’t know what the hell gives them to me.”

Space... It's a glamorous business :P.

I have a copy of Charlie Duke's autobiography, and apparently it was the orange juice. Apparently, they ended up complaining about it enough on the air that the governor of Florida made a statement to the effect that the oranges used to make the juice could not possibly have come from Florida.

Hiyas & I didn't notice this one...

"No matter were you go, there you are..."
Buckaroo Banzai

(also seen on a wall plaque in ST:TNG. I can't remember if it was on the bridge near the turbolift, or Picard's office)

"Dix Neuf Huit Sept Six Cinq Quatre Trois deux un zéro , nous avons d'allumage ."-The dude from the ariane launching sound from orbiter sound.

The countdown guy.

"Tranquility Base here"

I heard it live, and it made the hair stand up all over my body.

What I would have given to be alive during the space race. Sure the space program is still active today, but watching the shuttle dock just isnt the same as a moon landing.

Any chance you're referring to this image?

"Houston, Apollo 11 . . . . I've got the world in my window." - Micheal Collins, Apollo 11.

Not really famous but part of a song I dearly love.

In the context of the space shuttle and columbia disaster.

"They say she's just a truck, but she's a truck aiming high, See her big jets burning, see her fire in the sky" and "Though a nation watched her falling, yet a world could only cry as they passed from us to glory, riding fire in the sky"

Video its from.

Heres some that have probably been said from movies.
"GO HOTDOG GO!"
"I have to urinate, Gordo, Gordo?"
"You don't need a pilot, what you need is to get yourself a little lab rabbit."

Well one movie anyway.

Edit: @andysim correct me if I'm wrong but that music sounds like another song I've heard before. Now I know where I've heard it, the Goodies.
