Members of the Armadillo Aerospace team came together to form Exos Aerospace after John Carmack ended Armadillo.

Some great pictures here of the Exos SARGE rocket:

According to this news release, it's scheduled to carry a payload to suborbital space near the end of this month:

I always thought that Armadillo ended operations prematurely after essentially reaching the Karman line for space with their 94 to 95 km high flight of the Stig rocket.

They could have gotten funding and revenues for launches to suborbital space. Then with staging multiple copies of the suborbital rocket, you can get a fully orbital rocket, with orders of magnitude increase in revenues.

Exos Aerospace receives long awaited FAA license- final prep for launch

Thanks for the share on the forum. Exos received their launch license for the SARGE vehicle on Feb 14th and has payloads under 60-day review by FAA now.

Suborbital is just the proving grounds, stand by to hear more about the orbital plans that we expect to follow a successful suborbital launch!
