Escape rooms, in which participants are locked in a room and must solve a series of puzzles in order to get out, are popular around the world.
The industry has grown rapidly in recent years. In the UK, the number of escape rooms has soared from just seven in 2013 to more than 1,000 as of last year.

This is one activity that has passed me by completely. I can't think of anything more dangerous?

Something went badly wrong here then?

Obviously it doesn't appeal to me, I didn't even like the LazerQuest thing I had to go along to(company team-bonding). Sneaked out and found the nearest pub. Didn't go down too well.

Slightly less dangerous..
Who wants to stumble round in a dark room, while fellow workers try to target you?

Might as well have stayed at work.

Shouldn't be dangerous at all. The rooms are usually well lit, and all the ones around me are monitored via TV. Heck the one I went to wasn't really even locked so if someone actually needs to leave for some reason they can just walk out. I think your average haunted house would be worse.

Quite, I can see the fun involved if you are in a group. I know nothing of this activity, that's why its left me dumbfounded.

From the sound of it the room was not properly equipped, that is it was locked for real or lacked fire exits. Knowing Poland, it might be either lack of regulations or lack of effs given about them.

I guess this is a generation thing, I'm 66 and struggling to see the attraction?
Nothing like this when I was a lad.
