I was wondering if anyone ever used this great MFD for docking with ISS in the first stages of the ISS assembly, where the station was not in prograde attiude (+XVV +ZLV) during such maneuver but oriented +ZVV +XLV (Rbar approach and docking) hence with the Unity docking port towards the zenith.
Despite the different orientation the corridor for docking on the MFD still appears on the Vbar making it useless for guidance.
I ve tried switching the axis on the MFD but doesn't matter what mode is selected the corridor stays aligned with the velocity vector.....
I must have missed something.... Or maybe RPOP MFD does not support docking guidance for any attitudes other then +XVV +ZLV?...

Any help?

A dummy vessel with docking port, just to get you in the ball park?

Not quite sure what you mean.. Would you create a dummy vessel with a docking port oriented towards the zenith? If yes, how do you do that?

Can you add a second docking point ?

No idea.. Still it seems strange to me that RPOP does not support TORRA approaches and dockings. I guess there must be something I m missing about the MFD functionality. Would be nice to hear from David413.. But as far as I m aware he s not surfing on OH anymore...
