I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem with Orbiter 2010, and if there is a solution. I have been working on Orbiter for 2 days, and I have installed about 20 addons. Everything was working fine, and I decided to check on the planet textures. I left clicked on the camera button, and I got a CTD with the message that Orbiter had quit working and that information was being analyzed to send to microsoft. I tried the camera button in 6 different scenarios with the same results each time. I then tried the camera button in AMSO and it worked fine. If anyone else has had this problem and has found a solution, I would really appreciate the help.

What would be of assistance would be to post your Orbiter.log file - however, you'll have to make Orbiter crash out first. Load up one of the scenarios which made it crash, make it crash, and scrape up the debug output in the .log file afterwards. Post it here between

tags so it doesn't take up too much space.

In truth, it's rarely a good idea to stuff so many addons into one copy of Orbiter. What's generally better is to have many, smaller installations, with less addons in (and in some cases, like SSU and Shuttle Fleet installations for example, only one or two). If you opt in for a mod management tool like JSGME, you'll find the files easier to manage, and you will be able to easily uninstall an addon which breaks the install.

Have you installed LandSAT Venus L8 textures?

I haven't added any LandSat textures, but I have just spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out what happened to my simulator. All of the addons that I incorporated into Orbiter work fine individually, but it seems that there is some form of instability associated with some of them, and if there is instability in three or four of them, it seems to have a cumulative effect that eventually results in some pretty confusing behaviour and a ctd.
I have decided to start over (again!!), but this time I think I'll stick with what has been developed for Orbiter 2010 at least until the bugs are worked out of some of the other addons.
Good Luck Everybody
