General Question Converting to Orbiter (Universal) Time

See this Wikipedia article on time zones: [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_zones[/ame]

Also, have a look inside the "Utils" folder of your Orbiter installation for an application called "Date", which can convert to and from the MJD format Orbiter uses.

UT=UTC=GMT=Zulu Time.

Many names for the same time zone...

UT=UTC=GMT=Zulu Time.
:nono: Those things are only very approximately the same and can be different by more than 60 seconds.

UTC=Zulu time
UT there is no such thing, but you can make a choice from several ways of measuring "universal time": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Time#Versions
GMT=mean solar time=UT1
Orbiter time=TDB [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barycentric_Dynamical_Time"]Barycentric Dynamical Time - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

And for a more detailed discussion of it: Does Orbiter know what time it is? :facts:

opps! I never realised that there was so much more to it. Thanks for the correction Tblaxland!
