Hi all. :)

I've been playing about with Orbiter for a few months now, and I'd like to use my Saitek yoke with it. I can set up the three rocker switches on the yoke as translational controls by assigning them to keyboard commands, and the 'reverse thrust' detent on the throttle to fire the retros on the DG. What I'd like to do is make use of all three levers on the throttle quadrant. I was thinking of either left main engine, right main engine, hover engines or main, hover, scram (DG) or aux pods (Shuttle A).

I know the orbiter launch screen only allows you to assign a single throttle to main engines, but is there any way to set it up to control the other engines as well?

Cheers

Pete

Have a look at [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3223"]Fly-By-Wire 0.9.1 beta[/ame] I've not used it myself but it might be what you are looking for,

FBW will let you assign joystick axes to the main, retro, and hover engines, as well as RCS. Unfortunately, there is no help for SCRAM and aux pods.

Here's what I have set up for my X52:
I use the Fly-by-Wire addon (listed above) to assign main, hover, and retro engines to the axes. Then, I use the Saitek programming software and create profiles for various vessels. For example I have a profiles for the DGIV, the XR vessels, the RTF vessels, and a generic Orbiter profile for anything that does not enough special commands for me to give it a profile.

The search function is your friend.
