Due to the serious weather in the UK (2" of snow") the BBC has abandoned news reporting for weather coverage.
In a marvellous attempt at irony, it had a report from Melbourne about the hotest Summer for a hundred years.
During the report the local journalist said he was wearing "Budgie Smugglers"; it was on radio.

Is this some sort of Melbourne popular Summer wear?
