- Flying an air liner to the moon
Blender has some ability for texturing. I'll see what I can do
Maybe so that the top of the cargos are even with the outside of the other modules?
The Shuttle-D, empty, has only 4730 m/s of delta-v. We need something like a Centaur upper stage.
The XR5, empty, can even land on the Moon and back to Earth. But I haven't tested it fully loaded.
The detaliled electric systems (at first, I imagined a unmanned vessel) is a cool idea and could be added in a 2.0 version (after I learn how to code it =p). We can finish the 1.0 version with the APU fuel consumption only, like in the XR series.
Expanding the concept a little: the main thrusters can be inside the heat shield, around the second docking port. The HS could open like a flower when not being in an atmosphere to allow the use of the docking port and main thrusters.
The Shuttle-DB would be nice for smaller payloads. I'm planning a full capacity of 25mT of UCGO boxes for UTS. If fully loaded, the Centaur-like tug would be needed.

*Doing research and calcularions* - 25mt is too much, we would need a BIG tug (about 2 times the size of the Centaur).
Hmmm... :hmm:
Bruce: how many kg the Shuttle-DB can carry to LLO? Will it carry UCGO boxes? It does a cislunar roundtrip?
