This is a request for those with the required programming skills.

I think that having MFDs the simulate instruments like a classic airplane altimeter (with pointer handles ) would improve the simulation of old spacecraft (Buran, X15, etc) and some of the current aircraft addons.

Here's some inspiration:

Nothing specific or too fancy, just something that wouldn't break a historical simulation.

I'd like to see a MFD that simulates the Apollo Block I and II navigation insturments. I often play around with NASSP...and the panels are superb! ...If I had a universal MFD that could sim the PGNCS basics with the IMU and a nice FDAI "Eight Ball" to look at while using , say, AMSO or a few other addons I can think of, I'd be insanley happy! (As AMSO allows for full missions to be run, I use it most often than NASSP.

Yes. I can work the bitmap graphics if someone does the programming.

All we need is a MFD that allows the choice of (just as an example):
- Altimeter
- Speedometer
- Climb rate

All the MFD has to do is draw the display needle and choose the appropriate background according to what is chosen.

I've been meaning to learn how to do MFDs and was considering an apollo style ADI ball as my base.
