I am wondering how to change the altitude of the where the sound is actviated for the "you are clear to land"

I have gone into the sound config.exe and I only see a option to turn it off...where is it called from and where can I change the hight in which it is called. I couldn't find it anywhere in the Orbiter Folder. Only found the sound it self.

I suspect you're talking about the callout from Orbitersound. You can't change that one AFAIK.

I am using the firefly right now...NOT THE ONE I WANT TO USE. I need to get that built still. Might have a taker to help me but not sure. I hope someone can help me soon cause I know this ship would be a killer addition to the orbiter fleet. I have found a work around to the sound issue. You do have a 10m call out that yes is useful if you are not using any hud or something but if you are then it can be changed if you want. I am working on right now getting down the timing to the landing vs when that sound is triggered. I think I just about have it down. I am a audio engineer so that stuff is easy to me where as making the ship and computer graphics is not.

If you would like the sound when i am done let me know. This is what it will include,

taken out the callout

added a engine (jet) with a added bit of compression to give it more bass and tone

added a thruster venting discharge of access gases

added landing impact and landing gear hydraulic compression of the legs

sound and timing adjusted for between -100 to -250 vert descent. Have been tested with hover MFD to insure perfect landing conditions.

orbiter does have a skid sound for wheeled landings it will use if you have any sort of horz speed. rename land_o or something to keep the sound but take it out of the orbiter line up when loading.
