Is it possible to create a stationary camera view anywhere in Orbiter? Donamy had a youtube video of his Black Dart and the view seemed to be stationary while he was slewing to follow the moving craft. How do you achieve such a camera angle?

I've tried experimenting with the camera options in Orbiter but I can't figure it out.

Thanks for any help.

Try out FlyBy MFD [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3508"]Computerex Add-on Pack[/ame]

Stationary relative to what? The "normal" external camera mode is stationary with respect to the spacecraft. The "ground" mode (as mentioned in the post above) is stationary with respect to a planet surface. Can you think of any other frames of reference the camera should be attached to?

Thanks for the help everybody. You learn something every day. I had experimented many times with the camera tab including the ground tab but could never figure out how to do much. I think what confused me was that there are only two bases to choose from for a ground camera KSC/Habana. That's what threw me off. I couldn't see how you could change it to anything else. I just now saw the "current" button and sure enough that's what creates a ground camera for me depending on what I'm currently viewing. Something simple but I didn't for the life of me see that button.

Going to try out the flyby camera view again too. Thanks again.
