Calculating Slingshots using transx

I managed a sling shot manouver via Venus to Mars but only after finding out an appropriate 'launch window' from the internet.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to find out/calculate appropriate launch windows for slingshot manouvers (appropriate planetary allignments).

Dont think you can do this in transx but i may be wrong??
Just seems like it would take hours adjusting the date in 'course mode' in transx for proper allignment for a slingshot via jupiter to Uranus for example.

any ideas?

I've successfully used Map3D MFD to "eyeball" alignments for slings.
