Well hello Forum Guys.
Being a forum noob at the best of times, I'm totally unaware of the doubtless many advantages of the recent migration.
So this is gonna seem a thankless question (but I'm not).
All my myriad browser Bookmarks to much needed info are now redundant. ?
Is there any way to reconnect them?

I don't know how many bookmarks you have (I don't believe "myriad" is the actual number ? ), but if it's only a few, maybe the wayback-machine can give you at least the opportunity to find the thread and find it again in the current forum...
The last snapshot seems to be from June 20th this year. So if you place "https://web.archive.org/web/20200617110246/" in front of all your bookmarks, it might work, too.

Edit: I think LINKS are not very visible in the default theme, so as a note: "last snapshot" above IS a link

Old links should now seamlessly redirect to their XenForo replacements. This should've worked already, but I had to tweak the forum's nginx config to make it do so.

Thank you for your quick reply kuddel.
wayback-machine is a potentially useful tool but it ain't working for me.
I've tried "https://web.archive.org/web/20200617110246/orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?p=600744/ "
And get reply that hasn't saved that page.
There's a link on that page that says "search for all archived pages under http://www.orbiter-forum.com/." which comes up with the Forum home page back then, but then won't go any deeper, just returns the same message.
Any suggestions much appreciated ?
As regards"myriads", it's not much of an exaggeration as I'm a "save that for later n it might come in handy" kind of a guy. (Yes I have got a large shed and a loft) :ROFLMAO:

Hi Xyon.
Sadly it's not working on my Chrome browser where all my bookmarks are.
But, have just tried the Samsung Internet browser which I seldom use, and the forum pages in "history" link fine !
So dunno.
Doesn't seem possible to import bookmarks into the Samsung, as far as I can see.....

Can you give me an example of a URL you have bookmarked that isn't working?

Bottom left. The selection has a "paint brush" icon

Hey! This is weird. When I preview this post it shows the thread in question....... unless I put the link in inverted commas as above.
But it doesn't link in the browser.

It worked for me in mine on my phone. Possibly your browser isn't following the redirect? It redirects to https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/pointing-the-hover-engine.32796/#post-501142

Oh brother. It's working in browser now!!! ?‍♂️
Don't know. Somebody must have waved a magic wand.
Thanks for all your efforts, I've learned a few things anyway.

Well I did change some server config. So maybe that helped. I'm glad it's working for you now.

Whatever you did, it's working now.
What a relief!
I do use that shed fodder quite regularly.
Thanks again for all your work over these last few weeks (and back to 2010!)
J.
