This is a concept study of the BFR Mars rocket, based on the presentation of Elon Musk held in Adelaide on September 29, 2017. It contains the booster and the spaceship. Not all vessel behaviour may be as expected, as data on the BFR are scarce and sometimes contradicting.

Key commands and flight data are listed in Doc/BFR.pdf.

Update: Flight aerodynamics now more Shuttle-like.
[A] key toggles aerodynamics between wings and ballistic, for picth-over.

update

hey thanks for creating this vechile in orbiter. is this gonna have update? i got problems on launch when i launch rocket get nose down after just leaving luanchpad and when i put land on terrain it goes under terrain(i dont know if its orbiter or addon its occurs even with another addon) booster become unseable after jettison, and again thanks you for creattng this addon :hailprobe::hello:

Hi, thanks for flying it!
I made this BFR version as a proof of concept for the glider-approach and rapid-pitchup landing proposed at this time. This flight maneuver is so difficult that SpaceX changed to the sky-diver approach. I think this is still not the end of the line. The exposed canards and swiveling wings look like an engineering nightmare to me.

Unfortunately due to real-life commitments I will not able to spare much time in the next months on Orbiter developments. So an update is currently not planned. But I would gladly support any member who would like to make a current verison of the BFR.

On the launch: You could use a LaunchMFD.

On the landing level: This depends on the location where you land. The level of the 'firm-ground' versus the visible surface varies a little across the planetary surface. I defined the contact points for the Mars Olympus base (using PursuitMFD to land precisly)
