I've been playing Orbiter since the 2005 version I believe, and recently came back to it, been on the forum from a long time, but never posted.

So yesterday I created an Arrow in Orbit, then with and XR2 I sent some UCGO base modules to it, then went to the Moon and deployed the base (I still have to learn to land where I want...). So my question is what other add-ons are good for base building, and space station building, UCGO-compatible (preferably) or not. Does the add-on that makes the SSBB41 usable on the XR5 works on 2010P1? If not, could I use Universal Cargo Deck? (it does propagate weight, right?)

Thanks!

For space stations: Check these out

Mir-2 has some great station modules, and some great addons are listed in the download page.

URMS is very useful also, and can help with placing modules where they are needed.
The Energy project also helps by bringing in a great launch vehicle to bring up station parts.

edit: Universal Cargo Deck does not propagate weight, aerodynamic effects of your payload does not affect either.

Thanks for the answer!
If UCD doesn't propagate weight, what could I use to put a module or something into, for example a rocket?

Depends on the launch vehicle. I believe that UCD does use weight. I had issues with a slightly overloaded DG not so long ago....

Some rockets (like the excellent series by famandy and the Velcro series) need some ini file editing. It can be a little hard to understand at first but it's fun.
