General Question Autopilot Misalignment

Well I'm glad I got a discussion going here on this topic. I was about to run out and buy a new video card. I don't completely understand all the reasons the autopilot is offset but as long as someone can assure me there is a good reason for it I can sleep at night. I guess I'll just have to take out the 0.27 degree offset by hand flying the vessel as I do when changing planes.
