General Question AutoFCS and Orbiter 2010

This may be a silly question, but does AutoFCS work on Orbiter 2010? Do you need to modify any files for it?

No, it doesn't work. The most you can take out of automation in the Shuttle Fleet on Orbiter 2010 is the use of DAP -- when you tap the B button, it will hold your AoA for reentry so you only have to worry about R and Y axis. I personally don't like to let the DAP engaged during the whole descent since it is always killing a large amount of energy.

I'm worried about performing a de-orbit burn on time - what should I do for that?

On the BaseSyncMFD, these values give me the best practical results:

ReA 1 deg
Ant 105 deg
RAI 120K

If you burn precisely on the white radius, you will start TRAJ1 (on GPC MFD) right in the middle of the cone.

*Burn 'til your PeA reads 60km.
