Did they had a nuclear engines in those shuttles?
I have not seen the whole movie yet only some clips from it on youtube but how was those shuttles supposed to make a rendezvous with incoming asteroid. I think you would at minumum 10 km/s deltav to do a do a rendezvous with near Earth asteorid from LEO. Did they had a nuclear engines in those shuttles?
