Emirates has already been allowing this for a while. Can't say I enjoy it particularly much.
Then again, I have always hated "that guy" who thinks he is big and important because he feels the need to have a mobile phone conversation at 120dB.
I think planes should have the same rules that I have started in my office. You want to use the cell? Go stand outside. Boeing could install special foot restraints on the wing for people who feel the need to make a phonecall
