Apollo-Soyuz was especially rewarding for Deke Slayton. He was grounded from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo flights for having an irregular heartbeat.

Amazing thing happened. He began taking vitamins, and his heartbeat became normal. Finally got his dream true after so many years.

Great find. How far did you have to dig?
