Greetings! My first post in this forum!
Today I've been able to make a PERFECT Apollo 11 flight by using the Offset Guide that comes with the IMFD 5.3 manual (to be more specific it's on the last page), and the Apollo 11 flight plan that comes with the AMSO installation (A11-flightplan.txt). Unfortunately I was too excited after the final lunar orbit insertion, and landed one day earlier... when I looked outside the window and everything was dark I noticed that I had done something wrong;).

The matter is that IMFD manual comes with TLI burn times for missions Apollo 11 through 17, but not for Apollo 8 or 10. Apollo 8 is not so time-stricted, but Apollo 10 is, because historically it almost landed where Apollo 11 would.
And the biggest problem is that there is only an accurate flight plan for Apollo 11. I've trying to fly more missions by guessing the times (TLI at 1.5 orbits after lift-off, LM extraction 4 hours after lift-off, DOI two days after LOI, etc), but the timings end up being poorly accurate, or not accurate at all.
The Apollo 11 flight plan file says that it was made by using the times stated on the Apollo 11 Press Kit made by NASA, but I can't find any press kit of the other missions. All the NASA links I find are dead.

About the re-entry, I just have to set a lower orbit with reference to the Earth on IMFD and then set perigee to 40Km, right?

Thanks for your help. This sim is great and even after I managed to fly the Apollo 11 to the Moon, I feel I've just seen the tip of the iceberg. If I really get to accurately fly all the Apollo missions, I guess the next step would fly them on NASSP with its switch-filled cockpit and its monstruously long checklists!:P

Well, I found more press kits with some heavy googling, including ones from Apollo 8 and 10. They have the same format as the Apollo 11 presskit, so I think I would be able to use them.

Pattersoncr, thanks for that link. I found one like that (if not exactly that) on wikipedia. It's VERY good for flight comms transcriptions, but mission time events are a bit hard to find. Anyway, thank you for the contribution.

The actual flight plans are linked there (at least for some missions) as well as the press kits you were looking for.

Ok, now I managed to fly Apollo 10 to the Moon on the right time. Now the problem is returning in time. Using IMFD's Orbit-change -> lower orbit isn't really the best way. Apollo 11 pre-set scenarios use base-approach mode, but I've never used it and I don't know what values I have to enter. I guess the Lat-Lon values are the re-entry start point, and use the map mode to fine-tune course a 45 km perigee. Is there any tutorial for this part of the flight?
