I have a question:
Can you give a little "sneak peek" by example the PDI landing sound, because the Apollo 11 sound in the 16 is ANNOYING. :rant:

Project is in limbo, still no new files to work with unfortunately. Everything that's done is well tested and backed up. Having gotten this far, I want to release it complete. As it is now it lacks any real coverage of the return flight. Hopefully the return/re-entry audio will be made available soon, then again it could be a while...:shrug:

The AMSO modpack was what attracted me to Orbiter in the first place and having your sound mods only makes the experience better.Thanks from a noob for your work on all of the sounds for the Apollo flights. Please keep up the good work:thumbup:

Hi ParaG, and thanks for your interest in the soundpacks. Glad you like them. I haven't lost interest, it will be released, just want to wait a little bit more for those last few files. I suppose I could release it as is (90% done), then update it later as well as a patch at the same time? I'll probably do that if it gets to be too long of a wait. I really don't want to have to update it, on the other hand I don't want it sitting around forever either.

If I recall, the Apollo 11 soundpack that comes from the AMSO developer doesn't have return sounds either.

I think you should release what you have, especially if waiting is going to cause a long delay. You can update later when you find what you need.

Launch, TLI, and PDI to lunar landing are probably the most important parts. If you have those, then I think you are golden. Often mid-mission chatter just interrupts time acceleration without adding much.

Hello boogabooga, thanks for the reply. I appreciate the feedback. Regarding the mid-mission sounds I would add that this flight had a lot of problems for a successful mission, those problems together with the humor I think make the outbound flight sounds unique.

I'm not saying to leave anything out that you have, per se. But I don't think you need to wait a long time to release just to fill in gaps.

The outbound sounds interesting, so now I really think you should release it. :thumbup:

Yes, there hasn't been any audio past post TEI commentary since a few months. I check the site often.
