I'm having trouble setting the appropriate Offset for TLI using the AMSO addon. No matter what I do, the IMFD map-mode doesn't change, and keeps saying I'll smack right into the moon.

I've followed the tutorial closely, but to no avail. I know that you need to change the "Rad" in the IMFD to show a change with the PeA in the map-mode, but no matter how much I change the Rad, the PeA in the map-mode won't update.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Am I suppose to somehow "link" both sides of the IMFD?

What's funny is that in the pre-made scenario, I can change the Rad and see it update, but when I try to do my own full scenario from launch to the moon, it won't work. Yet I'm sure I'm inputting the right values.

yes you need to 'share' the MFD's information, its easy, when you start the IMFDs iin both left and right MFDs after the reboot screen has shown on both get past those as you would normally and then on the MFD that you plan to use the MAP mode for IMFD click share and enter the ID of the other MFD. It says what the ID of the MFD's are, normally the left on is ID:0 and the right is ID:1, so for example if you are goin to use the MAP programe in the RIGHT MFD you would share that one and when it asks for the ID of the MFD you wish to share with you would enter 0, and vice versa

A good add on is LunarTransferMFD also by jarmonik, it can be found here : http://koti.mbnet.fi/jarmonik/Orbiter.html. it is very easy to use but can only be used int he earth moon system

Just what I needed. Thanks!

Darn, maybe I spoke to soon.

Even after having the right MFD (in map-mode), share with the left MFD, my inputs in the left MFD won't alter it accordingly.

I did a test. I opened Scenario 5 of the Apollo 11 missions, which takes place a few minutes before TLI. I double-checked all the settings. But when I started manually altering the settings (such as switching from off-plane to realtime), the map suddenly shows me wanting to hit the moon.

Even when I went back and inputting all the same settings that the scenario had originally (Lon, Lat, Rad, TJI, Off-Plane, etc), it won't change my plan in the map mode.

It must be something I'm doing wrong.

Nevermind, looks like I got it figured out. The problem was I wasn't typing "M" after the numbers when inputting the Rad.

Thanks again for the info on tying the 2 MFD's.
