Programming Question AMSO custom landing sites for autopilot

Good afternoon. I have been learning to create my own custom scenarios for AMSO, but the last thing I need to figure out is how to create a landing site that AMSO's autopilot will navigate to. The only way I have found is to overwrite one of the existing landing sites config files, and I was wondering if thats still the way to go, or is there a better way? For example, if I want to land at 0 degrees lat and 5 degrees west, and want the AMSO autopilot to do the DOI and PDI maneuvers, how do I set up the scenario for that. I've been through the manual and the search function, but the config file edit is the only one I've found. Any help would be appreciated.

I like your question in 2010 it was easy to add new LZ's using Lola but not so easy in 2016 but it can be done with pursuit MFD
