Version 1.10 beta of AMSO Apollo 11 Sound Expansion Pack.
ATTENTION !!! DO NOT OVER-INSTALL !!!
UNINSTALL FIRST VERSION 1.00
Read and follow carefully the installation instructions of the "readme.txt" file included in the archive.
This sound pack expansion is an example of what can be done with the new ATC sound engines. It demonstrate the "pre-countdown" sound feature. It containt ATC's for both Apollo and LM vessels, covering all main events from the liftoff of Saturn V, until after the return in orbit of the LM ascent stage. This represent already 564 sound files and an unpacked size of 54,2 MB !!!
WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 1.1 BETA
Thanks to the transcription document I found, I was able to set all GET synchronized ATC, to very precise historical time, with just very few "cheat" exceptions. For example, the TLI burn duration in Orbiter, is shorter than the real one. So I had to anticipate some ATC said during the end of the burn.
Work so far is:
- Fully revised GET ATC's set for the separation phase. It is now fully historical.
- GET ATC's times revised for LM extraction, MCC correction burn, first LOI burn.
- Added a whole set of new GET ATC's, since the AOS after 1st LOI burn and until the 1st Lunar orbit LOS.
- Added a whole set of new GET ATC's, covering the second LOI burn preparation, then the 3th orbit dialogs, since the AOS after this burn, until the LOS of this 3th orbit.
