I was watching this video here,
, which is truly awesome.
If you skip to 4:06, you will see a map of the solar system which tracks the ships location.
I'd just like to know how to view this from within the game. The closest thing I can find is this, [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3992"]Map 3D MFD v0.7a[/ame] . Is this is what is being used in the video? As it appears to be full screen in the vid with stars in the background. Where as the mfd will only be a small part of the screen...?
