Recap of the race ... Lewis had engine problems in quali 2 preventing him from coming out in Q3. Mercedes fixed it without a full engine swap so he started 10th (i,e. could be worse).

In the race, Seb was taken out by Kvyat: Kvyat hit him on the first corner (outbraking himself), and then hit him again spinning him into the barrier. This has got him demoted to the junior team (lucky for Max Verstappen who steps into the RBR seat).

Meanwhile, Lewis had a huge race, charging through to 2nd, and closing on Nico, until his pits told him he had a water pressure problem. (After the race they said his water pressure dropped to zero.) Somehow he nursed it home for 2nd.

Nico had an uneventful weekend ... P1 in Quali, P1 in the race. Must be nice to have a car with no issues .

Lots of conspiracy theories after the race that Mercedes is determined to have a German win this year, prompting everyone including Lewis to say please trust the team, etc.

On to the next race, and here's hoping for a fair fight for Lewis, Nico and Seb.
