I would like to point out an observation I made after installing UCGO 3 . This is not a complaint, just a difference I noticed. I noticed that the gravity wheel on the Arrow is much darker now, and that's while using all the same settings that I was using with UCGO 2.5? Is this suppose to be the case, or am I having an issue perhaps? Even when the Arrow is in direct sunlight, it is fully lit, except the wheel is still black?
Maybe someone could post a picture of your UCGO 3 Arrow Freighter so I could see if your wheel is darker also?

It is very dark, true. It is not however black in direct sunlight - maybe dark grey/brown.

I agree though that it could be lighter.
It is however matter of taste :)

I don't remember touching this but it may be because you use DX9 new version or such ? It was always very dark.

Yep, forgot to remove the test config. The car was 90% finished but well... no time. I'll update the pack within one week (so if anything else come up I can update it as well)

:goodposting: I second that! I have had and continue to have soo much fun with UCGO! The Arrow Freighter is amazing. :thankyou:

I had a rather funny feeling when my engineer informed me that all six engines were primed and ready to go... a kind of "Space, the final frontier... *music*" sort of feeling. :love: Thank you Dan for such an awesome creation. (And, yes, I'm awfully sorry for not reading the help panel once, even after playing for an hour... :D )

Q: is there any api to control arrow freighter

great work, as usuaal :) :thumbup:

a question: is there any API / possibilty to control the arrow freigher with some api or something ... e.g. that i can program a new orbconnect function to lets say start the gravity wheel (so i can start it via my simpit) or requesting the status of the lights, elevators etc.?

Your addons add level of realism to Orbiter that really sometimes make one forget that it is simulation and not real life.. :cheers:

I've gotten up from my chair many times, only to realize that I've been sitting there for hours (knees and other joints making popping noises), it's a wonder we all don't get DVT.

The ambiance of the Arrow freighter is really, really cool. I like sitting in orbit over Saturn, checking out the rings and moons from the comfort of the command deck, then "get up" and move closer to the window. When the right music is playing, it's pretty awesome.

So, after a while staying far away from orbiter, I return and, what am I seeing?

As you can see I really like playing around with the cargo.

It would be good if the forklift could raise it's teeth up and the shuttle have automatic capture if the cargo is very close.

Also when I record videos playing around with the cargo/forklift, it doesn't work on playback.

I last seen this problem months or years ago, but yesterday I saw it again.

On a Orbiter install with OrbiterSound and DG-IV (2014 update) during DeltaGlider-IV rollout after landing, I have multiple G-Excess warnings and the ship is not braking.

What is happening?

It works on a clean install, so a mod i got must be the problem.

It looks like a problem with Olympus spaceport on mars. If you were to remove mars, that might fix the problem (or as a better idea, just replace the textures/Olympus.dds from a clean install). There also seems to be a problem with earth bases, so I think if you installed a set of improved bases, that could be the larger problem.
