Well that was a bit of an anti-climax, with the rain preventing any improvements in the final minutes. But the tricky conditions do mean we've got a corker of a pole position shoot-out coming up for you shortly. Rain continues to fall at Sepang. This is prime Jenson Button territory, this.
0843:
SECOND QUALIFYING ENDS
Nico Rosberg finishes fastest in the second part of qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Sometimes I really wonder where this huge differences between two drivers with the same car come from. Vettel was 2.5 seconds faster than Webber, but I don't think he is that much better.
And I really pity McLaren and Button, what happened there that they can't even become 5th or 6th anmore?

Mistiming for Webber also Vettel and the Ferraris got themselves fresh Inters while the rest stayed out on their original tyres.

Race under way.

Vettel away like a rabbit, Alonso out. Webber second from fifth

What are Force India doing? They've got a problem with the front left tyre on Paul di Resta's car. BBC F1 pit lane reporter Tom Clarkson says that the problem seems to be on the inside of the wheel. The Scot is losing stacks of time, here.

Half time: Webber Vettel Hamilton.

Bit of a protest from Rosberg, reckons he could have got past Hamilton. Told not too by the boss!
