The main problem with space exploration is that no one is working together. What we need is an international space organization that will have funding from all over the world.

2. I am very good at flying into LEO, and to Mars.
3. Probably the fact that sometimes Orbiter crashes on me and will revert all my progress.

China has yet to launch a probe into Martian orbit. Their first independently launched Mars probe is yet to be announced. You must crawl before you can walk, and you must walk before you can crawl. China is in the pre-crawling phase, while The U.S. has been walking since Viking.
Last time I checked, the US had more important things to do than launch an attack on Kazakhstan. Sure, it would be nice to have the Baikonur Cosmodrome, but other than that, no real use.
