Since we are on the topic of the Lunar Transfer MFD, how do you do a correction burn with it? Do you just go back...
After I start the scenario (which i believe is already set up) i press [Exe] [Dv] and than [Exe]. Then after a while when I was setting up for my first mid-course correction I used IMFD since I do not know how to use the Lunar Transfer MFD very well yet :embarrassed:. But when I set it up it...
But how can I do this with the Apollo Computer? I have made dozens of trips to the moon with none Apollo style vehicles, i usually just used the Align MFD and Transfer MFD, but I don't know how to do it with the Apollo Capsule (without running out of fuel ;))
Thank you
Ok I have not made it to the moon, I missed by 22M! :embarrassed: The reason being when I launched the launch autopilot (the one that comes with NASSP) it launched me into orbit with a RInc of 55 degrees. How do I fix this with the limited amount of fuel that I have? Or have I done something...
Ok thank you everyone for your help
I am now on my way to the moon with Apollo 8! (using the Lunar Transfer MFD ;) , even though I had to change the GET so I would not burn in the atmosphere :P )
Thank you
Yes i did, the only thing I did not do is: TVC SERVO POWER 1 - AC1/MNA

I have redone the mission (from Launch to TLI) and still the SIVB is orientating itself towards the Earth than burns :confused...
Oh boy this is going to take a while :P (i did everything the checklist said)
1) Launch 000:00:00 -No problems-Followed checklist
2)Insertion-No problems-Followed checklist
3)Did my 1st System Check- Had some issues with the ECS checks (some things were not working properly, but most likely...
Hey MJR, my PeA even though it is relatively low (184.3k) it is still stable and above most of the earth's atmosphere. And the Apollo 8 mission flight plan says to use the IMFD for precise maneuvers, etc. Even though using way you stated is way easier :P. And I have checked and the roll, yaw...
Hey everyone, i am doing the Apollo 8 basic mission to the moon from NASSP (I've completed Apollo 7 with little problems). And I keep running into a problem executing my TLI Burn, the SIVB orientates itself towards the earth than burns (Causing it to re-enter :P). I think the problem is when I...
Ok I have done what you put together, but I am still getting the BWOD right after windows starts, so im pretty sure I need a new video card.:( Thank you for the help though:cheers:
Ok, ive switched cards between computers and I can get into windows on the "problem computer" :) but since the video card on that computer is pretty expensive, i want to be able to fix it without buying a new one. Is there anyway that i can download the drivers for it with the lower end card in...
I have tried going into safe mode and the recovery disk and both don't work (I still get a blue wall of death and sometimes the screen just "blinks") im beginning to think the video card needs to be replaced :(
P.S its XP
After i removed orbiter on my personal computer the problem stopped, but it also may of stopped because i updated my driver. But my 2nd computer (my main computer) has the problems, since after windows loads it goes straight to the BWOD.
Sorry for confusing you :P
P.S oh I see where i made the...
I have always used addons while using orbiter, so i don't know. I have found the latest NVidia driver for my main computer (but it is absolutely "fried" so i can't get the drivers downloaded), and I am currently downloading the one for my personal computer.
But my main concern is my main...
I downloaded it from : http://www.orbiter-forum.com/download.php (the ZIP file not web installer).
And the addons were: Orbiter Sound 3.5, NASSP - Project Apollo, ENERGY Project, IMFD 5,1q, Aerobrake MFD, LOLA MFD, and DGIV.
