I realized that the most time "during the mission" Shuttle spends between VAB, rollout and 1 month on Pad39. As most payloads like IUS and many others (except SpaceLab type of payloads)are installed later from canister, I can simulate rollouts of most missions even classified ones, because...
Strange thing I noticed only now. When I am in ground camera mode, when I scroll to go down (camera view lower), I goes much slower down, than going up. Speed (sensitivity) , when going up is consistent with moving camera sideways (rotating). but going down is noticably slower.
I tried everything (all PRPLEVEL values are 0) to remove O2 venting at SSME's nozzles, when shuttle is on the MLP on the top of the crawler during roll out, carefully scanned scenario, changed many many parameters, but nothing works so far... I'm beginning to see those plumes in my dreams.

Sitting in Crawler I just realized that view out of the windows is quite OK, I mean there is a non "1" transparency. maybe shuttle cockpit could have this feature, especially aft and upper windows... otherwise view of payload bay is too clear, like there is nothing (no glass at all).
Experimenting with shuttle roll outs, I made quite quickly STS-8 scenario for Aug2, 1983 when it approaches Pad39A.
Just wanted to ask, does "J" work the opposite way - detaching MLP with shuttle from Crawler to Pad39? I am seemingly at the right position, but MLP stays attached to Crawler. And...
Should I write here or not I don't know, but I experience some old issues with graphical client - no shadows. I created STS-9 mission on the launch pad with GLS's SSV. Scenario starts with external ground camera focused on Columbia. Orbiter, ET or SRB'S do not cast shadows onto each other and...
I will go here, all I care is standard situations (T-31, or -9 min), plus open bay for viewing mode. I am quite satisfied with these options.
P.S. About those other things (maybe) to do. I noticed SRB deflection smoke cloud is noticably smaller that SSME' s, maybe values from SSME's deflection...
Nevermind, Just found this myself: "There's no lens flare, just the sun glare which can be tuned in realtime from D3D9Graphics Controls, you can also customize it by editing Glare.hlsl in /Modules/D3D9Client/", so I have replied to myself...
I am just thinking about solar glare in open orbiter, it is not as impressive\massive I have on Orbiter 2016. Is there a texture file, to tweak it? Also in debug sliders I see only water adjusting (which works), others do nothing (although it's written something like "water and glare settings").
Hm, I know STS-36 made "dogleg" to reach 62 degrees... but here I just thought they are going for almost 90 degrees, but if it's less it is more understandable.
Latvia, at least this time, is in finals. He is quite OK, but as for many other artists - overall it's quite awful, too much of "crazy" image on a stage.
